I read Doctor Who The Forgotten #6 today (the final part, you may note) it was alright. It was an enjoyable romp into the forty five year legacy of Who. I won't lie that it would have been slightly better if Pia Guerra carried on doing the art, but you know, circumstance dictates. It wasn't brilliant and it has its flaws, but it should definately just be taken light heartedly.
But, oh Lord, I was must meandering through when I just suddenly burst into laughter.. AND SO behind the following cut is some scenes from The Forgotten #6. Its mostly for the lulz, but will contain some major spoilers (like woah). You've been warned.
So, you may or may not know that the Doctor and Martha randomly find themselves in a sort of museum dedicated to the Doctor. As it would turn out, Martha isn't Martha at all, but is rather a sort of human manifestation of the TARDIS (a bit like the Brig in Zagreus) and so, because its all meant to be set after Journey's End, the Doctor asks Martha to turn into someone else. So er, Martha then turns into Harry (I could read more into that *waggles eyebrows towards a certain comm*):
Oh Lord! I know! I should be more grateful because MOAR HARRY is never a bad thing, but my God, just look at him! But Nevermind.
And then Harry turns into Leela.
Who doesn't look too bad actually. So, the TARDIS keep turning into different companions and eventually turns into 70s!Sarah
Well, at least she looks better than she did in the 1977 Doctor Who Annual. Sarah only appears in one panel before turning into Adric.
Its crazy, it sounds like some really mad crack!fic, but it is a cheap and easy way of bringing back previous companions, I do suppose. And I suppose if written well, would make quite a hilarious Children in Need special. It'd be gloriously fanwanky, but who cares? Really?
If you could get your hands on it, I'd recommend it, but just don't take it too seriously, ok?
