Well, well, well, what can I say?
I loved the first part, I really did! I held my hopes high for the second part only to be sorely disappointed.
Spoilers behind the following cut and all that.

Oh lol, I've only just noticed how appropiate my current listening is.

Oh hey, I'm going to talk about the SJA screening I went to yesterday in Liverpool, so whilst I will be talking about the upcoming SJA episode, I won't be giving out massive plot details and spoilers, but a basic knowledge of what is coming up is advised.

But its behind the following cut anyway

THE FOLLOWING CUT!!1! )THE FOLLOWING CUT!!1! )

So that's that. Then there was a Q&A with Tommy Knight, Anjili Mohindra and Daniel Anthony. The kids asked the questions.
"What's your favourite colour?" (fucking called that question)
and the best question ever "why are there aliens in this?"

Then the group I had attached myself to and I found a pub and all was alright.

Who do you think it is easier to talk about your problems with: your friends, your family, or strangers?

View 501 Answers

Well, its definitely not my family, I tell them nothing about my problems, they were always the last to know about the bullying I went through as a wee lass and even then it wasn't because I had told but rather because somebody who knew my mum had got wind of the information. Blah.
Friends, well, it depends what group of friends: Clique, yes, obviously, other groups of friends: no. I'm not going to go into massive detail about who I would tell to all my problems, mostly because, I don't want to and partly because I'm sure to offend someone (which implies they'd be on LJ in the first place. Ha! How presumptuous!)
Strangers, yeah, easily. Obviously, I'm not referring to complete strangers on a street, but rather doctors and other people like that. Yeah.
But generally, I don't like talking about my problems. Ok, so I tend to whine on Lj alot, but that totally doesn't count, ok? And I don't really like asking for help either, I like to be able to do things all by myself. Hence the legend the was my geography coursework (I like to think that my geography course has passed in the Blue Coat school geography department folklore, and whenever these geography teachers of the current day start on the GCSE coursework, they'll pull mine out and then tell the extraordinary tale that was my geography coursework. I'd have to get Georgia in a few years to take geography (and hope they still do the same coursework), and see if they tell the tale. I'll be sorely disappointed if they don't).
And now you may be wondering just what exactly was the legend that was my geography coursework. but that is a tale for another time.

Tomorrow, at work I have a five hour shift and then Monday, I'm on double time, two days of pay for all the effort of one!

What scientific or medical breakthrough do you most want to happen in your lifetime?

View 500 Answers

TIME TRAVEL. For serious. Mostly for money and political gain. Also because I'd want to go to one of those American Doctor Who cons they had back in the 80s, back when most of the major cast were still alive... It'd be weird but I'd place bets on how the series will end, then go back in 1989 to collect my winnings.

Also, new hair! Taken via the magical medium that is my webcame because I left my camera in Oldham. Smooth.

What's the story behind your username?

View 503 Answers

Revolutionaren, or as its meant to be: Revolutionären, is German for 'revolutionary'. 'Revolution' is one of my favourite words and er, I used to study German. So now you all know.

Of course, there was my old LJ username which was a bit embarassing, so I bought one of them rename tokens and renamed myself something much cooler. I more or less, refused to join fandom with my old username because I didn't want people to judge me. Ha ha.

And I will take this oppertunity to say hello to my lovely new flisters *waves* and apologise now for being completely boring.

If you had to give up one indulgence for 40 days, what would it be?

View 500 Answers

This year for Lent, I will be giving up frivolous spending, so that's no buying clothes, DVDs, books, cosmetics, random eBay purchases and most other things I can't think of right now.
Things I will allow: food (obviously), prescriptions, travel (possibly), rent and bills. Oh, and swimming costs.
So far, so good.

I have taken up water aerobics, I went on Monday, it was lots of fun. Will surely go again.

Who is cuter: Bret or Jemaine?

View 500 Answers

Bret, totes. Although, I do love them both. I came to realise that they're kinda made for each other (whilst still being heterosexual life partners) when in one episode Jemaine was making the oven 'talk' for Bret.

Er, I'll post the photos from my photo meme later. I was half hoping to get a few more replies *waggles eyebrows*.

I read Doctor Who The Forgotten #6 today (the final part, you may note) it was alright. It was an enjoyable romp into the forty five year legacy of Who. I won't lie that it would have been slightly better if Pia Guerra carried on doing the art, but you know, circumstance dictates. It wasn't brilliant and it has its flaws, but it should definately just be taken light heartedly.
But, oh Lord, I was must meandering through when I just suddenly burst into laughter.. AND SO behind the following cut is some scenes from The Forgotten #6. Its mostly for the lulz, but will contain some major spoilers (like woah). You've been warned.

Woah now! MAJOR spoilers for Doctor Who: The Forgotten #6! )

If you could get your hands on it, I'd recommend it, but just don't take it too seriously, ok?

Time for a quick SJA 2x11 review post, for I have nothing else of any real importance to say. I want it known that I will be doing this off the top of my head because I've only seen it twice (so far) because the only laptop that willingly connects to the internet has gone walkies. So I am currently living it up in the library.

SJA: Enemy of the Bane Part Uno [Spoilers, man] ) And then I watched Robot, because its mint.

Oh pissmidgets! I logged onto The Train Line and it said that I had not booked any tickets to London at all. So I called them up and yes, it had not been booked at all, but at least I hadn't been charged for it. But I've rebooked it and got a reference number this time. Good job I checked really.

In other news, I just feel really ill, I went to the walk-in centre and they said it wasn't appendicitis, so I'm not too worried. I'm just not too impressed either. And pepto-bismol, as I discovered today, is disgusting.

SJA reaction post time, I suppose.

Today was my first day of lectures. I don't feel I've actually learnt anything. Also, my loan has come in, which is very good. Also, on a rather bizarre note; there's an Ann Summers vending machine in the SU toilets, seriously, it vends lube, fluffy handcuff and even a Rampant Rabbit vibrator. Lol, what?

Dildos aside, its time for the:

So the World didn't end after and I'm still as poor as ever and undecided about the future (well, there's the dream but it'll never happen), but nevermind.
Or perhaps the World did end but we just haven't noticed because in our very last second of existance our consciousness is living out the rest of our lives for us so that we die comortably rather than being vapourised as we're sucked into the black hole that was the Earth. Using that pool of thought, I should be able to will myself to become rich... Hmm, maybe the World didn't end after all.
Even the youth of today were discussing the LHC (which begs the question as to how much 10 year olds understand particle physics), although the youths were more on the "OH SHI- THE WORLD'S GONNA END!!1!1" bandwagon than anything, and this afternoon they were proclaiming that "OMG, SWITZERLAND HAS BLOWN UP!!1!1!".

Of course Big Bang Day also led to a super special Torchwood Radio Play! Which I talk about under the following cut:
